3. Resident Survey 2017 Over the coming weeks we will be undertaking a resident survey to understand how satisfied residents are with their local area and the services provided by the council. Gathering the views of residents helps us to understand our performance and to make decisions about the services we provide. NWA Research, an independent research company, are carrying out the work on behalf of the council. Surveys will be posted out to a sample of residents next week, emailed out to residents registered on MyAccount and a link will be posted on the council website homepage when the survey is live. | ![]() |
4. West Pennine Moors SSSI The West Pennine Moors Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) was notified on 17 November 2016 under section 28C of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. On 19 July 2017, the Board of Natural England approved the confirmation of the notification of the West Pennine Moors SSSI with modifications to the boundary map, the description of the special interest (citation) and the views about management (VAM).
